Technical Description
A 19th century glass serving bottle in Amethyst dating to c1890.
It has a silver plated cork stopper and was probably used for spirits rather than wine.
Date & Origin
England, c1870. Period of Victoria.
Condition
Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips cracks or restoration, clean and clear.

Jim Hogg was the first born native Texan to serve as Governor of Texas, and he took office in 1891. He is well known for his supervision of the State's law enforcement and railroading communities
