Technical Description
An 18th-century Jacobite engraved wine glass dating to 1750.
It has a drawn trumpet bowl and stem, the stem having a large central air tear. The bowl is engraved with a Jacobite Rose, open bud and closed bud. Conical folded foot.
According to Geoffrey B Seddon, the glass was engraved by engraver C

Comments
This glass comes from the Michael Wallis collection which took over 45 years to build and contains over 250 drinking glasses, covering all forms from the 18th century, many exceptionally rare. They will all be presented by Exhibit over the coming weeks and months.
