Technical Description
A superb 19th-century engraved ale glass dating to 1838.
It has a long conical bowl engraved with hops and barley and the initails FW with the date 1838 below. Slice cutting to the base of the bowl. Sits on a large hollow ball and angular knop stem. Conical foot with polished pontil.

This glass comes from the Michael Wallis collection which took over 45 years to build and contains over 250 drinking glasses, covering all forms from the 18th century, many exceptionally rare. They will all be presented by Exhibit over the coming weeks and months.
