Technical Description
A Georgian air twist cordial glass. A drawn trumpet bowl transitions to a mercury twist stem, the twist is comprised of a pair of corkscrews. The piece is supported by a conical foot finished with a rough pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-made around the time the wearing of the kilt was banned in Scotland by the Dress Act in 1746.
