Technical Description
An 18th century baluster wine glass. A bell bowl with an air tear captured within its solid base. This rests upon a knopped stem featuring a large annulated knop and a basal knop. The piece is supported by a domed and folded foot with a rough pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-made around the time the Treaty of Vienna was signed between the Holy Roman Empire, Great Britain, the Dutch Republic and Spain.
