Age related wear as shown. The rim is chipped in a number of places, this is common in rich cut glass. The largest is 9mm in diameter.

Technical Description 

A 19th century American rich period celery dish. The rim is notch and slice cut, this rests upon a cut base featuring alternating hobstar cutting. 

Historical Relevance 

Hand-blown around the time the United States Polo Association was formed in NYC.
