Technical Description
An 18th century Jacobite engraved firing glass. The trumpet bowl is engraved with a rose, open bud, closed bud, kissing star and a thistle. The piece is supported by a thick firing foot which has a rough pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time of the Battle of Falkirk Muir which took place on the 17th of January 1746.
