Technical Description
An 18th-century Balustroid wine glass with a round funnel bowl above a basal knop stem. The piece is supported by a folded conical foot with a rough pontil.

England, c1740 Period of George II.

Excellent, age-related wear as shown.

Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time King George I died on his way to Hanover in1727. His son, George, Prince of Wales, became King George II of Great Britain.
