Technical Description
A superb set of six matching Opaque Twist wine glass goblets dating to the late 20th century. They have large lipped ogee bowls above double series opaque twist stems consisting of a pair of two-ply spiral tapes outside a gauze. High conical feet with snapped pontils.
Really nice to see a set of six and large enough bowls that they can be used at the modern dinner table.
We have pictured one next to an 18th-century opaque twist wine glass and as you will see there are significant size differences.
