Technical Description
A superb 18th-century goblet with a large round funnel bowl which has been beautifully engraved with a Jacobite Carnation, open bud and closed bud with a butterfly on the reverse.
Large scale facet cuts to the base of the bowl transitioning into fine hexagonal cuts on the stem. Conical foot with snapped pontil

Condition
Excellent, no chips cracks or restoration. The bowl has a small thin internal annealing line which is approx 1cm long and does not come to the surface. Insignificant and part of the manufacturing process.
