£375.00 $474.11 Product Code: 2022051802

Technical Description

A fantastic Victorian Glass Rummer made for the Great Exhibition of London in 1851.

A very rare example, it has a large round funnel bowl engraved with a detailed scene from Winsor Castle, Buckingham Palace, Nelson's ship, the Victory as well as the Royal Coat of Arms.

Sits on a thick capstan stem and wide conical foot which has been engraved with Acorn leaves and has a snapped pontil.

We have two similar glasses and would say that these are the first examples we have ever come across.
