Technical Description 

An excellent example of a Terraced Foot Firing glass dating to 1750. It has a drawn trumpet bowl and stem above a terraced Firing foot with a snapped pontil.

Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips cracks or restoration

In 1750 Robert Gordon's College opens in Aberdeen and James Short's Gregorian telescope which had a 38 cm aperture reflector is constructed which is the world's largest at this date.
