Technical Description
A mid-18th-century Firing Glass. It has a bell bowl with a solid section at the base above a plain stem and a thick firing foot. Snapped pontil.

England, c1750. Period of George II.
Condition
Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips cracks or restoration

Height: 11.1cm Bowl Diameter: 5.2cm Foot diameter: 6.3cm.
Comments
Hand-blown around the time of the Battle of Falkirk Muir which took place on the 17th of January 1746.
