Technical Description
A fantastic Georgian Irish glass decanter. It has its original waffle disk stopper with three milled neck rings below. Engraved with an Irish Harp with surrounding groups of flowers. Snapped pontils.
Provenance, Jim Lennon collection, attributed to Belfast.
Date & Origin
Edwards of Belfast, Ireland, 1802-1810. Period of George III.
Condition
No chips cracks or restoration, some internal residue as shown.

Height: 23cm Diameter: 10cm.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time the Apothecaries (1815) Act prohibited unlicensed medical practitioners.
