Technical Description

A truly breathtaking William IV Masonic engraved rummer. 

It was engraved for a Past Provincial Grand Master, William Hilton of the Wigan District in 1837.

It has a large bucket bowl with his name and PPGM 1837 on one side and a coat of arms with various masonic symbols and the words AMICITIA AMOR ET VERITAS (Friendship Love and Truth) on the other with religious figures on either side.

Ball knop stem above a conical oot with polished pontil.

A truly stunning and very personal glass.
