Technical Description
A magnificent 18th-century composite stem wine glass dating to around 1750.
It has a round funnel bowl engraved around the rim with the words BINDEN EN VEREENIGEN (Bind In Unite) with two flaming hearts on a plinth below, surrounded by rococo scrolls.
The stem consists of a shoulder air beaded ball knop above a triple annulated knop above a double knopped multi spiral air twist.
An exceptional example.
