Technical Description
An excellent Jacobite Sympathy wine glass dating to c1760. It has a bell bowl engraved with a Jacobite Rosem open and closed bud with a butterfly on the reverse. Sits on a double series opaque twist stem consisting of two pairs of spiral threads outside a gauze. Conical foot with snapped pontil.
