Technical Description

A rare 18th century champagne/sweetmeat goblet. It has a rib moulded double ogee bowl with an everted rim. Merese collar above a thick double series opaque twist stem consisting of an 18-ply spiral band outside a pair of spiral tapes. Domed and folded foot with rib moulding to match the bowl.

An exceptional example.  

Date & Origin 

England, c1760. Period of George III.

Condition

Good, no chips cracks or restoration. There is a small open air bubble in the inside of the bowl.
