A 19th century perfume bottle. A slice cut body, entirely decorated with stylised foliate gilding. The piece retains its original stopper.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time of the birth of fish and chips, the dish is purported to have been served for the first time in the UK in 1860.
