Technical Description
18th and 19th-century drinking glasses are by far our most popular items, and justifiably so. However, just every now and then a piece of antique glass tableware comes along that is breathtaking in its workmanship.
A mid 19th century glass butter cooler with its original lid and stand. The lid has a facet cut finial above a field of graduated diamond cuts. The graduated diamonds continue down the curved bowl and again into the stand rim which is finished with a large star cut.
The workmanship is truly outstanding.
