Technical Description
An 18th century balustroid gin glass. It has a bell bowl above a double annulated shoulder knop, inverted baluster and basal knop. Conical folded foot.
Date & Origin
England, c1740. Period of George II.
Condition
Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips cracks or restoration. There is an air bubble within the bowl as shown.

Height: 12cm Rim diameter: 4.8cm Foot diameter: 5.8cm.
Historical Relevance
Hand-made around the time Grog was first issued to the Royal Navy in 1740.
