Technical Description
A collection of clay pipes. The eight pipes are mounted within a wooden frame featuring a glass front. The pipes include a Kitchener, an Irish Cutty and a Cricketer.

Clay smoking pipes like these were first used in Britain in the 16th century with the introduction of smoking tobacco from the Americas. The availability of raw materials used has allowed production to continue to the present day.
