Technical Description
A round-funnel bowl engraved with a band of floral sprigs. The elegant plain stem joins the bowl with a conical and folded foot. Rough pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time the ‘British Gazette’ (Britain's first Sunday newspaper) began publication, also around the time of the beginning of The Fourth Anglo-Dutch War.
