Technical Description
A classic 18th century wine glass, with a drawn trumpet bowl and stem above a conical folded foot with a snapped pontil.
Superb condition, an early two-part example, with an early wide fold.
Comments
The drawn trumpet with the folded foot is what would probably be categorised as the classic 18th-century wine glass form, however, they are far from common. You can find gins and drams and ales in that form far easier than you can a good-sized wine glass...only a small % of plain stem wines have this form.
