Technical Description
A rare example of a 19th century Nailsea glass flask decorated with pulled up red white and blue trailing. A rough pontil completes the piece with its original cork stopper. These flasks are popular and we often sell fine examples...however, the vibrant colour combination on this particular flask is rare.

Excellent, no chips cracks or restoration

Hand-blown around the time Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter was published on the 16th of March 1850.
