Technical Description
An exquisite pair of 18th-century Bohemian glass liqueur decanters. The bodies are decorated with Rocco style gilded rural scenes. Slice cut bodies, shoulders and necks with gilded bands between. They have their original gilded solid ball ground stoppers. Polished pontils.
A fantastic high-quality pair in superb condition.
You can see examples of these types of decanters on pages 162-164 of 'The Decanter An Illustrated History of Glass from 1650' by Andy McConnell. Personally, I think his two books are by far the best ever written on the subject, not just of decanters, but in many ways, glass in general.

Condition
Excellent, age-related wear as shown, clean and clear. Minor loss of gilt and some minor grazing to the rim of one decanter.
