A superb 19th century Shaft and Globe glass decanter. It has its original hollow printie cut stopper, the printie cutting continuing around the main bowl.

Condition

Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips cracks or restoration.

Height: 28.5cm Diameter: 13cm.

Historical Relevance 

Hand-blown around the time the first section of the London Underground Railway opened to the public, running from Paddington to Farringdon Street.
