Technical Description
A superb Studio Pottery Salt Glaze Coffee Pot by Ray Finch dating to 1950.
Ray Finch, who has died aged 97 in 2012, was one of the most respected British studio potters of the 20th century. He was internationally admired for work that expressed the more traditional values of his craft, superbly glazed functional pots and for running a legendary workshop at Winchcombe, in Gloucestershire.
