Technical Description
An 18th century cut glass sweetmeat. The double ogee bowl features a scallop cut rim with vesica cutting below. Sits on a thick double knopped scale and diamond facet cut stem above a petal cut foot which has a polished pontil.

Condition
Excellent, age-related wear, no chips cracks or restoration. some minor grazes to the foot edges.

Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time the Dutch East India Company dissolved on the 31st of December 1799.
