Technical Description 

An 18th-century gin glass with an elegant drawn trumper bowl that has a band of small flute cuts around the rim. Plain stem above conical foot with a snapped pontil.

Historical Relevance 

Hand-blown around the time the astronomer Anders Celsius introduced the Centigrade temperature scale.
