Comments
The "plain stem" wine glass of the 18th century has a strength of character unequaled by many of its contemporaries. With an amazing array of sizes, bowls, and foot forms, the 'plain stem' is very much a collector's favorite.
This is a particularly fine example with a combination of engraving, moulding and a folded foot. Elegance and strength.
