A fine example of an early 19th-century French champagne bottle with an applied rim collar and high kick base. Olive green in colour. Clear and clear.

Maine Becomes the 23rd state of the USA. Maine was an enclave of Massachusetts until 1820, when as a result of the growing population and a political agreement regarding slavery, it became the 23rd state on March 15 under the Missouri Compromise
