Technical Description
An excellent cut and engraved 19th century glass tumbler. A tapered bowl with a fine band of engraved ferns above a slice cut deceptive base which has a polished pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter was published on the 16th of March 1850.
