Technical Description
Four early 20th century cut port wine glasses. A round funnel bowl with four intaglio cut foliate sprigs. The stem is wrythen moulded with cuts on each ridge. This all rests upon a conical foot with a plain pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time General Horatio Kitchener assumed command of the British forces in South Africa from General Lord Roberts.
