Technical Description
A very fine set of six early 19th century slice cut jelly glasses. They have conical slice cut bowls above conical feet with polished pontils.
A set of six of any form of glass from this era is a great find and they can be used today for port, whisky, or shots...personally...I like my Jelly in a bigger bowl.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time Irish Royal Navy captain Edward Bransfield landed on the mainland of Antarctica on the 30th of January 1820.
