Technical Description
A late-19th-century blue glass beer stein with a hinged pewter lid. It has a hollow applied strap handle and the main body has been beautifully hand-painted in enameled flowers and gilded decoration, almost certainly by Moser. Polished pontil to the base.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time the Erlenmeyer flask was created by Emil Erlenmeyer in 1860.
