Technical Description
An engraved 19th century glass rummer. The round funnel bowl is engraved with a decorative band above star cut wheels with beaded swags between. The stem is slice cut and joins the bowl to a square foot with a radial cut base.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time Edgar Allan Poe's poem ‘Raven’ was first published on the 29th of January 1845.
