Technical Description
An enamelled ruby red wine glass. The bucket bowl is enamelled and gilt with floral sprigs and rococo scrolls. A plain stem with a gilt band joins the bowl with a gilt and enamelled conical foot which has a rough pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time of the Greek War of Independence which began in 1821.
