Technical Description

A superb large example of a 19th-century deceptive toastmaster wine glass. A deceptive conical bowl with slice cutting upon a double ball knopped stem. A conical foot with a polished pontil completes the piece.

Historical Relevance 

Hand-blown around the time the Royal Astronomical Society was founded in London.
