Technical Description 

An early 18th century wine glass. The bucket bowl rests upon a hollow inverted baluster stem and a conical foot with a rough pontil.

Historical Relevance 

Hand-blown around the time Robert Walpole became Britain's First Lord of the Treasury, effectively Prime Minister, although the term was not officially used at that time.
