Technical Description
A large 19th-century antique double compartment spirit barrel with its original white metal taps and stoppers. The barrel has been slice cut with facet cut collars at each end with a seal in the middle allowing for two sprits eg two different types of Whisky to be kept, each with its own tap. It sits on its original wooden frame.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time of The Anglo-Zulu War which was fought in 1879.
