Technical Description
A fine early 19th-century port wine glass. It has a bucket bowl with a solid section at the base. An angular knopped stem above a conical foot with a snapped pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time the Venus de Milo, a famous ancient Greek statue, was discovered on the island of Melos.
