Technical Description
Pair of engraved 19th-century glass tumblers. The bowl is tapering with an engraved floral band. A thick base with a broadly polished pontil completes the piece. These examples are soda glass but have a good weight,

Hand-blown around the time Queen Victoria narrowly escaped assassination when Roderick Maclean shot at her while boarding a train in Windsor in 1882.
