Technical Description
A fine example of a William IV decanter with its original mushroom cut stopper.
Three applied and facet cut neck rings above slice cut shoulders with a band of flute cutting to the base. Polished pontil.
Overall a fine example, which can hold approx 1.5 bottles of wine...or a bottle of Whisky...whichever is your tipple.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time the Earl Grey succeeded the Duke of Wellington as Prime Minister in 1830.
