Comments
Plain stem wine glasses from the mid 18th century are my favourite form which I have noted on many occasions. They are almost certainly 'the collectors' favourite, especially if they have a nice large air tear in the stem.
This example has a particularly good-sized bowl which will hold 'enough' of whatever your tipple happens to be. So if you do decide to buy it, please use it for what it was intended...it will always taste better.
