Excellent, age-related wear as shown. Very minor grazing (wear) to the foot edge and corners.

Technical Description
A rather exceptional early 19th century Jelly glass. It has a rib moulded bell bowl above a thin capstan stem on a square foot with a polished pontil.
Comments
When I first saw this glass I was pretty sure the foot had been reduced...it didn't quite sit right with the eye. However, on close inspection, the foot is the original size and has never been reduced. The tool marks on the top edge of the foot could only have happened at the time the glass was joined to the foot....if the foot had been reduced these tool marks would have disappeared.
A rare form...finding another example of this glass will be rather difficult.
