Technical Description
A 19th-century slice cut ale glass. A lipped conical bowl with slice cutting to the lower half. Diamond fact cut ball knop above a conical foot which has a polished pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time Austins of Derry was established in Northern Ireland. At its closure in 2016, it remained the world's oldest independent department store.
