Technical Description
A magnificent high-quality early 20th century cut glass decanter.
The decanter holds 1300ml to the base of the top neck ring (a Magnum is 1500ml) or approx 1.75 bottles of Whisky....so it's obviously a sharing decanter...or a party decanter depending on your mood.
Around 100 years old this is a superb example with its original mushroom cut stopper. It has three slice cut neck rings, the cuts continuing down the shoulders. A band of fine diamond swags with larger diamonds below above a star-cut base.
Historical Relevance
The 1910 World Missionary Conference, or the Edinburgh Missionary Conference, was held on 14 to 23 June 1910 with 1215 representatives from around the world.
