Technical Description
A superb pair of early 20th century crystal candlesticks dating to between 1900 and 1920. Petal and slice cut sconce above hollow slice cut inverted baluster stems with facet cut basal knops. A fine pair, over 100 years old, which would enhance any special occasion table.
Historical Relevance
In 1920 the Eighteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was passed, creating the era of Prohibition.
