A John Walsh opaline and citron glass vase. A crimped rim steps down to the neck before tapering to the base. Twisted opaline ribbing covers the piece. The pontil has been polished.
Hand-blown around the time the sport of Volleyball was invented by W G Morgan in Massachusetts in 1895.
